Sten is passionate about helping clients manage their finances through the different seasons of their lives. He focuses on retirement, estate and tax planning strategies for individuals, business owners, corporate executives and their families.
His certifications as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Chartered Financial Consultant® help him advise his clients on virtually any financial issue. After operating a successful practice in Oregon, Sten moved to Nashville in 2009 to join a local investment management firm. He founded Legacy Investment Planning in 2012. Sten has been recognized as a member of Society 1851, which represents the top 2%-3% of advisors who were affiliated with MML Investors Services in the country. In 2017, Investment News chose Sten to be one of their national 40 under 40 advisors. Sten is the author of the 7 Mindsets of Success and Wish I Knew That Sooner.
Thomas (Chris) Bryant is an Illinois native, and upon moving to Nashville, he joined our team. He is passionate about helping people and specifically enjoys helping people achieve their financial goals.
Chris works hard every day to elevate the service and experience we provide to our clients by assisting the Advisors with analytical expertise and creative problem-solving. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Chris believes financial solutions should be unbiased and not driven by product sales, so he considers it his mission to focus on understanding our clients' needs and helping to prioritize their results.
Chris and his wife, Lauren, welcomed their first child in September 2021. They live in Franklin and attend Trinity Baptist Church. When Chris isn’t working, he enjoys swimming, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Spending the first 8 years of his career in the health insurance industry and watching others struggle to find affordable health care was a turning point in Dustin's life. It was then that he realized that he wanted to be in a role that could help others plan for their future and protect their loved ones.
Dustin thoroughly enjoys teaching and helping others understand their financial future by explaining it in terms they can understand. The unique partnership that he creates with his clients alleviates the stress associated with investing and finances, and he helps his clients focus on implementing a plan that is measurable, achievable, and purposeful. By helping remove this stress, Dustin believes you can focus on the important things in life that you are passionate about.
Dustin and his wife, Sweden, reside in Franklin, with their daughter, Hunter, and son, Nash. They attend Brentwood Baptist Church and are active in their small group. When Dustin isn't working, he enjoys hunting, triathlons, and traveling with his family.
Brad has spent the past 17 years helping clients make better financial decisions by helping them recognize opportunities and avoid pitfalls throughout their different stages of life. In Brad’s opinion, an effective financial plan should be based on achieving goals, and not chasing market returns.
Brad brings an added layer of knowledge with his Certified Retirement Planning Counselor® and Accredited Wealth Management Specialist® certifications.
Brad and his wife, Ashley, reside in Thompson's Station, with their son, Carter, and two daughters, Meredith and Sara Beth. They attend Thompson Station Church where Brad teaches in the youth group and serves on the Finance Team. When Brad isn’t at work, he enjoys golfing, taking his wife on dates, and spending time with his family.
Bard Powell is originally from Alabama, and moved to Nashville to join our team. He is passionate about helping people and specifically enjoys helping people achieve their financial goals.
Not only is Bard a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, but he also has over 25 years of experience as a tax advisor. Spending those years on the reactive end of his clients' financial decisions ignited a passion within him to find a better way to help people avoid the pitfalls they so often found themselves in and help them gain the financial security they ultimately desired. As he put it, Bard is thrilled to help prevent the raging fires that he used to try to put out.
Bard and his wife, Lauren, are expecting their first child in April 2022. They currently live in Spring Hill and attend The Bridge Church. Bard is an avid Crossfit member and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. In other words, he's not messing around.
Jamie has worked in the financial services industry since 2004. With a great deal of experience in both client service and office management, she is passionate about both serving our clients and helping our team provide the most exceptional client experience.
Jamie works directly with our team to drive strategic objectives, facilitate innovative business solutions, and grow Legacy partnerships while also providing support to the team's overall functionality and daily operations. Her hands-on knowledge and understanding of our clients' unique needs helps insure that our team is effectively poised to deliver the highest level of service that we promise to our clients.
Jamie is married to her husband, Jason, and they have three children, Savannah, London, and Ireland. She enjoys live music, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Brooke has worked in the medical field and customer relations since 2014. She is passionate about building relationships, organizing data, and creating processes that create the best possible client experience.
Brooke will carefully process applications, forms, and handle money movement and account specific requests. Her extensive customer service background has equipped her to facilitate positive outcomes, despite any barriers faced.
Brooke and her husband, Jake, moved from Massachusetts five years ago to pursue a warmer climate! She enjoys spending time with family, visiting local coffee shops, and attending church.
